BioIQ Announces The Appointment Of Sherman Sanchez As Senior Vice President, Sales And Business Development

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioIQ, a technology platform driving the employer and health plan shift to value-based care, announced today that Sherman Sanchez has been named senior vice president of sales and business development.

In this role, Sanchez will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic sales and expansion opportunities. “Sherman is an innovator and veteran healthcare sales executive with a proven record of facilitating long-term business relationships,” said Justin Bellante, chief executive officer, BioIQ. Sanchez is a well-known figure in the healthcare industry with more than 20 years of experience. He joins BioIQ from NextHealth Technologies, where he was an integral part of the senior leadership team focused on top-line growth. Previously, Sanchez served as the vice president of sales at MedeAnalytics, where he was instrumental to the company’s high-performance growth prior to its acquisition by Thoma Bravo. Prior to that, Sanchez was vice president of sales and business development at Health Data Management Solutions (HDMS), an Aetna company, where he was closely involved in the growth of the Healthagen business.

Earlier in his career, Sanchez was a principal at Mercer, serving as the national business lead for the company’s analytical solutions. He also co-founded D2Hawkeye, Inc., a leading healthcare analytics company that was acquired by Verisk Health. Sanchez held a variety of leadership positions during his tenure at D2Hawkeye, including vice president of data services and business intelligence and interim chief information officer.

Sanchez has worked as a consultant in clinical quality management at Fallon Healthcare System and as a public health advisor for the Department of Health and Human Services. He started his healthcare career in pre-hospital emergency care as an EMT for American Medical Response in Sacramento, California.

Sanchez earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Healthcare Administration from UMASS Medical School/Clark University.
