Michigan Biosciences Organization - MichBio Release: Consortium of State-Based MedTech Associations to Spotlight Key 2013 Issues

February 05, 2013 -- Leaders of the State Medical Technology Alliance (SMTA), a consortium of state-based medical technology trade associations led by the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), will hold a press briefing and luncheon for members of the media in conjunction with SMTA’s annual Capitol Hill fly-in to discuss key policy issues.

The SMTA and AdvaMed are committed to working with states to grow the industry, create jobs, fuel medical progress and maintain U.S. leadership in this sector. These senior executives and AdvaMed staff will discuss the “state of the states” and release its State Medical Technology Competitiveness Agenda, providing an overview of policy options that can be put in place to foster growth in 2013 and beyond.
