The TMF Experts, Phlexglobal, Celebrates U.S. Success

02 October 2012 - Phlexglobal, the leading global Trial Master File (TMF) technology and service provider, is proud to announce a 300% increase in its employee headcount at its new Malvern offices near Philadelphia in only one year.

The company, the pioneer of the first commercial electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) solution, opened its Philadelphia office with only 18 employees. Due to the success of its innovative and timesaving products, including its unique PhlexEview solution, customer demand has risen so sharply in the US that the business has now expanded its Malvern workforce to over 60 employees, a three fold rise in just over a year.

The US office has even seen prominent members of staff transfer over from the company’s UK headquarters, including Toni Lakin, Phlexglobal’s business development manager who initially joined the Philadelphia office for a one year period and has now secured her long stay visa to remain in the US for the long term future.

The Malvern site, which provides a base for Phlexglobal’s resource solutions and operations task force, started life as an 800 square metre office which also housed its new records centre, securely storing live TMF documents for Phlexglobal clients across the United States. Within eight months of opening, the records centre outgrew its space and has since been expanded to 2,000 linear meters.

Toni Lakin, business development manager, said: “We pride ourselves on our delivery of innovative, flexible and adaptable technology and resource solutions and know that we can continue to deliver that due to the great teams we have here and globally. Philadelphia has been the perfect location for our US base due to the concentration of pharma and biotech companies based here, highly skilled workforce as well as ideal working and living conditions.”
