Officials from the health department are still investigating 35 confirmed cases of Hepatitis A linked to frozen strawberries from Egypt used by Tropical Smoothie Café franchises in Virginia.
According to the report from AOL News, 14 of the confirmed cases came from Northern Virginia, five from Northwest, six from Central and 10 from Eastern Virginia. Health officials are advising consumer who ordered smoothies with frozen strawberries served at Tropical Smoothie Café on August 5 to 8 to be vaccinated or have a immune globulin to prevent acquiring Hepatitis A.
