RevoluGen Appoints Stefano Giolito as Chief Marketing Officer

RevoluGen, a privately held scientific company specialising in the development and commercialisation of nucleic acid isolation and purification products, today announces the appointment of Stefano Giolito as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

Ascot, UK – 26 June 2019 – RevoluGen, a privately held scientific company specialising in the development and commercialisation of nucleic acid isolation and purification products, today announces the appointment of Stefano Giolito as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

Stefano has more than 20 years of marketing and R&D experience, with a proven and consistent track record in launching global innovation and crafting impactful marketing campaigns for several global blue-chip companies. In his previous role as Marketing Global Vice President of Unilever, he led a global brand worth more than €3 billion and was responsible for the innovation and communication strategy for one of Unilever UK’s biggest businesses.

He will report to Pieter Haitsma Mulier, CEO of RevoluGen, and will serve on the RevoluGen Board.

Further background on Stefano Giolito
Stefano Giolito began his career in 1997 and has held various marketing and R&D positions. He was most recently at Unilever, where he did a variety of roles, firstly in Italy and then in the UK. His roles included European Brand Manager, Global Sustainable Business, Senior Global Brand Director, and finally Global Brand Vice President – Homecare. Between 1997 and 2001, he worked at Procter & Gamble, GSK and Unilever.

Currently, Stefano acts as Angel Investor and Board Member for a portfolio of high-potential start-ups, with a focus on social and environmental impact. He is Business Mentor at On Purpose, and a Trustee at a music education charity.

Stefano holds a First Class MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Milan and University of North Wales.
