This designation is for the proposed Eye90 microspheres indication for the treatment of patients living with unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC). Breakthrough designation is granted to devices that may provide more effective treatment or diagnosis of life-threatening or irreversibly debilitating diseases or conditions for which no approved alternative exists.
