Clariness Celebrates 10 year Commitment To Accelerating Clinical Trials With ClinLife Enhancements

Hamburg, Germany – September 30, 2015 – Clariness, a global provider of digital patient recruitment, retention, patient surveys, study feasibility and site selection services for clinical trials, commemorates its ten year anniversary with the latest ClinLife® enhancements.

Used by thousands of investigator sites and nearly one million patients worldwide, the ClinLife portfolio includes patient-friendly web portals that automate the clinical trial enrollment process, clinical trial feasibility tools that analyze data on site and patient levels, in addition to a system for investigator sites to efficiently manage clinical trial enrollment. A newly-released investigator portal allows research sites the improved ability to communicate with patients, track activities, and promote patient retention for clinical trials with scheduling reminder tools for study participants.

“What began as a website to improve clinical trial awareness and public access to clinical trials has evolved into a robust platform to streamline the most time and labor-intensive part of a clinical trial.” said Jens Stelling, Chief Technology Officer. “Our ClinLife investigator portal is specifically designed to be fast, intuitive and integrated with everyday workflow for investigator site staff.”

The release of ClinLife investigator portal is the latest development in an evolving product and service portfolio to support patients, sites and sponsors during clinical trials. Other key milestones in the company’s 10 year history include:

? ClinLife (2005): Initially launched in Germany, the introduction of ClinLife was one of the first public portals that was specifically designed to help patients and volunteers find suitable clinical trials at nearby investigator sites.

? Office and country expansion (2006): Clariness opens an office in Serbia, to house the company’s growing software development team.

? Service portfolio expansion (2008): Feasibility and site selection are added to the company’s service offerings. Clinlife expands into North America.

? International expansion (2010): Clariness operations expand with the opening of its U.S. headquarters in New Jersey.

? Operational focus shifts to digital solutions (2010), following comparative campaigns of traditional and digital media.

? Demand triples (2014): Clariness’ patient recruitment services support global mega trials with a global network of native language enrollment specialists.

“Clariness was founded upon the premise of using data and current technologies to find patient patients and support sites who conduct clinical trials,” said Michael Stadler, chief executive officer. “While drug development sophistication continues to rise, the fundamental challenge of patient access remains. Clariness remains committed to looking for ways to simplify drug development through our expanding service portfolio.”
