Courtney Morris Joins Decision Resources Group as Executive Vice President, Solutions

BURLINGTON, Mass., Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Decision Resources Group (DRG), one of the world’s leading research and advisory firms focusing on healthcare insights, analysis and consulting, announced today that Courtney Morris has joined the Company as the Executive Vice President, Solutions. Mr. Morris was most recently Senior Vice President, Solutions Management for Truven Health Analytics, formerly the Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters. At DRG, he will be responsible for driving product strategy, innovation and marketing. Mr. Morris will report directly to Jim Lang, CEO of Decision Resources Group.

Mr. Morris received his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah. Prior to holding a variety of senior positions at Thomson Reuters, he was a strategy consultant, first with McKinsey & Company based in Helsinki, Finland and then with The Parthenon Group, in Boston, MA. Mr. Morris will be based out of the DRG corporate offices in Burlington, MA.

Growth Commitment

Mr. Morris’s appointment comes three months after Mr. Lang became CEO. Mr. Lang had been the President of the Market Access Business Unit at the Company for over a year before taking the top spot in June. His appointment by the Piramal Group, the parent company of DRG, heralds in a new chapter of growth for the organization.
