ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Vital Imaging is pleased to announce the addition of four new facilities. Spanning from Orange County to Central California, the new locations offer greater accessibility to more patients. Already a leader of medical-legal MRI’s in the State of California, Vital Imaging is always striving to do more. “We’re building a future,” says Sam Solakyan, CEO of Vital Imaging. “Not just for us but for the patients we serve.” Dedicated to staying at the forefront of innovation in diagnostic technology, Vital Imaging utilizes the weight bearing, multi-positional MRI among other groundbreaking technologies to provide absolutely accurate diagnoses for injuries.

As the Vital Imaging family continues to grow, the goal remains the same: convenient and quality diagnostic care. “We strive for and partner with the best,” says Sam Solakyan. “We’re excited to see where these new ventures take us.” With that in mind, Vital Imaging continues its untarnished tradition of excellence at all of its sites.
The newest joint venture site to join our ranks is Disk Imaging in Encino. Established in 1992, this site has a long tradition of offering the highest quality of service and technology. Located in the heart of Ventura County, Vital Imaging can provide more patients in the Valley with the best in MRIs, X-Rays, and CT scans.
Further north in Fresno, Vital Imaging has teamed with MRI of Fresno, a free-standing diagnostic center providing MRI, CAT scan, Bone Densitometry, X-Ray modalities, and Ultrasound. A family-owned business started in 1998, Fresno began with a Hitachi AIRIS II and over the years has not only added other modalities but also updated to the AIRIS Elite, making them the first to have an operating Elite in the US. Prior to coming to Fresno, the family operated three more imaging centers in the Bay Area, which they started in 1989. With its long history of unparalleled service to the Fresno medical community, its state-of-the-art technology, and commitment to providing the best patient care possible, this location is the perfect addition to the Vital Imaging family. Here, Vital Imaging offers MRIs, X-Rays, and CT scans. “We’re happy to be part of such a long history of healthcare,” Sam Solakyan states. “Family is a beautiful thing and the fact that this started as and still is a family-owned business speaks volumes.”
Finally, with locations in Anaheim and Whittier, SoCal Diagnostics has joined the team. With its array of dedicated physicians and its endeavor to always put the patient first, SoCal Diagnostics is a perfect fit with Vital Imaging and their commitment to quality care. SoCal Diagnostic services include Radiography, Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, DEXA, and CT. At both of these locations, Vital Imaging will provide X-Rays and CT scans to its patients. “Their reputation precedes them. Their patients leave having had a great experience, and that’s exactly the kind of practice we want to be partnered with,” says Solakyan.
These new additions to our team bring the Vital Imaging count to 30 sites serving injured patients throughout Southern and Central California. With that said, Vital Imaging has plans to expand outside of California in the future, hoping to bring quality care to an entire new set of patients. “Going in for an X-Ray or CT can be a difficult and hard time for people. If we can make it just a little bit easier for them, then our job is half done,” states Sam Solakyan.
It’s not just imaging sites that Vital Imaging plans to expand on either. The company is constantly striving for ways to improve the patients’ care. “We’re always looking into the most cutting-edge technologies to see if they can benefit our patients and our practices,” says Sam Solakyan. As of now, the company is participating in a new study that is looking at the effects of Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy. The procedure stems from the concept that the body was made to heal itself. In the study, people are injected with their own blood which has been centrifuged to the extent that it is for the most part platelets. Those platelets release growth factors that help in the repairing of the damaged tissue. The treatment is being extended to many different types of injuries, including muscle sprains, tendon pulls, fractures in the bone, arthritis and even surgical wounds. Vital Imaging’s participation in the study focuses on the pre and post PRP therapy, examining the injuries with MRI images and helping to answer questions that have so far gone unanswered. “We’re not a one trick pony,” VP of Operations, Matt Sabrkhani says with a smile. “We want to be able to further assist medical professionals in any way possible, be it research studies or new MRI sites.”
While the full outcome of the research study is still unknown, one thing is certain, Vital Imaging is moving full steam ahead. Currently the company is going through what it calls a “reVITALization” of all its sites, which translates into a massive remodel. On top of already offering open MRI’s for claustrophobic and obese patients, Vital is taking patient comfort a few steps further. Vital Imaging’s goal to provide a safe, comfortable and tranquil environment for anyone who is being treated, be it during the scan or during the wait for service. “We are streamlining the process for our patients,” Sam Solakyan says, “simplifying the paper work and cutting down on the wait time.” Vital is also offering convenient and easy-to-access online patient forms that can be filled out prior to the appointment. Those forms can be found at: www.Vitalimaging.com.
The future indeed looks bright for Vital Imaging. With Mr. Solakyan’s innate ability to stay a step ahead of the current trends and his clear vision for the future, there is no doubt that his company will continue to climb upward and make its mark on the medical field not only in Southern California but throughout the country. It is with great enthusiasm that Sam Solakyan shares, “This is only the beginning. We will continue to expand and continue to provide superior services for patients nationwide.” So prepare America, a Vital Imaging is coming soon to a diagnostic center near you.
