MUNDELEIN, IL--(Marketwire - August 04, 2011) - Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and executives from Medline Industries, Inc. met today at the company’s headquarters in Mundelein, Ill., to discuss opportunities to further expand Medline’s business in Iowa.

Medline, the largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies in the country, currently has its state-of-the-art customer service center located in Dubuque. Opened in 2009, the 66,000-square-foot facility is home to 350 Medline customer service employees. Back in the spring of 2000, when Medline moved its customer service center to Dubuque, it had 25 workers.
