Pharm Country campaign spotlights leading life sciences companies
DENVER (May 28, 2014) – Today BioSpace, the leading life sciences employment and news website, launched the 2014-2015 Pharm Country Hotbed map campaign spotlighting the life sciences community in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
The Pharm Country region is a leader in biotech and pharmaceutical employment with the number of job openings posted to BioSpace increasing 54 percent from 2012 to 2013. The Pharm Country region now accounts for 20 percent of all job openings on BioSpace – the highest of all Hotbed regions across the U.S.

This year’s participants include Acorda Therapeutics, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Amicus Therapeutics, Inc., Aptuit LLC, Helsinn Therapeutics Inc, LifeCell Corporation, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
