MECHANICSBURG, Pa. and THORNTON, Colo., June 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Vibra Healthcare, LLC ("Vibra") today announced the opening of a new medical rehabilitation hospital in the Denver area. Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Denver is located at 8451 Pearl Street in Thornton, Colorado, and will complete the continuum of care currently being offered at this location. The 31 bed medical rehabilitation hospital complements the already existing long-term acute care hospital and transitional care unit; the new hospital offers patients with neurological, orthopedic, and other injuries and illnesses access to specialized care and the latest in medical rehabilitation technology.
The state-of-the-art hospital includes a spacious rehabilitation gym, as well as an outdoor therapy courtyard. The gym will feature a multitude of specialty equipment, including the Bioness® Vector Gait and Safety System®. This robotic, ceiling-mounted system provides patients with a unique opportunity for early and safe gait training. In addition to the hospital's clinical and rehabilitative services, Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Denver looks forward to opportunities for community involvement and plans to offer several local support groups for individuals recovering from conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and amputations.
