One of this year’s key gatherings of cardiovascular surgeons from throughout the world, the event is being held in Philadelphia from April 29-May 3, 2006.

Of particular interest this year will be in-booth presentations by renowned cardiac surgeon and innovator, Dr. James Cox. Entitled “Form Follows Function”, Dr. Cox will elaborate on the concepts that formed the basis for a unique design approach to tissue valve prostheses currently being developed by 3F Therapeutics. On January 23, 2006, ATS Medical entered into a definitive agreement to purchase 3F Therapeutics.
