NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Catholic Health East (CHE) announced today that all legal and regulatory requirements have been met for Maxis Health System (Carbondale, PA) to be added as its newest network health organization. The addition of Maxis is effective July 1.

Maxis Health System is an integrated delivery network comprised of Marian Community Hospital, Tri-County Human Services Center, Inc., Maxis Medical Services, Complete Pharmacy Services and Maxis Foundation, which includes Marian Community Hospital Auxiliary. Located in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, Maxis Health System and its affiliated organizations are sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In joining CHE, Maxis is the System's 19th regional health corporation and the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary represent its 16th Sponsor.
