ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Centura Health and Pinnacol Assurance have entered into an agreement that expands the availability of Centura facilities and services to Pinnacol’s policyholders and their employees.
Effective June 1, 2004, all Centura hospitals and surgery centers across the Front Range are participating in SelectNet, Pinnacol’s statewide network of health professionals specifically skilled in treating work-related injuries. Services offered by Centura Health at Home, Centura’s home care and hospice division, are also included as part of the agreement. Under a previous contract, hospitals in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City were the only Centura facilities in SelectNet.
“Approximately 50 percent of Colorado businesses now have access to the Centura family of facilities through Pinnacol’s network for work related injuries,” said Jay Picerno, Centura Health executive vice president and chief operating officer. “This agreement supports Centura’s efforts to nurture the health of the people of our communities and to create healthcare experiences for them that engender excellence and compassion.”
