Clinovo Launches its First TechTrainings With 101 Clinical SAS Programming, a Series of Hands-On Courses for Clinical Trial Professionals

Clinovo’s TechTrainings are technical courses designed for entry-level or already experienced clinical trial professionals looking to expand their skillset. This 10-week class will prepare students to the SAS BASE certification. The first session “101 Clinical SAS Programming” will be held at Clinovo’s offices in Sunnyvale, CA, in Fall and Winter 2012. Taught by Jennifer Kang, Senior Statistician at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Research Institute, the class includes real-world case studies written with 10+ years experienced professionals to help students. The course includes data set creation, logics and decisions regarding choice of statistical procedures and interpretation of computer output. The class is split in a 1-hour class section and a 2-hour lab section with case studies and exercises. No experience with SAS is required for this class, however basic computer skills are required and notions in statistics are helpful.
