COLUMBIA, Md., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Doug Beigel, CEO of COLA, spoke today at the 19th Physicians Office Laboratory symposium, describing the direction of COLA for 2005 to a packed room of industry professionals. He announced COLA’s new key partnerships, revolutionary products, and groundbreaking initiatives.
Beigel described COLA’s partnerships with two of the largest medical specialty societies in the world: The American College of Physicians and MLE; and The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP-PT). These partnerships will provide discount products and services to COLA customers. Beigel also mentioned COLA’s partnering with CLMA to offer further support to COLA customers by providing timely information about regulatory changes at the click of a button.
Beigel briefly touched upon the implementation of COLA’s revolutionary new accreditation program expected to begin in January. This innovative new program, a Quality Systems approach, will be supported by COLA’s eLearning courses that will begin in November. These courses will provide information, education and services through easy access via COLA’s website.
Beigel strongly believes that as a result of taking these initiatives and providing customers with the best products and services, COLA will become the leader in laboratory education, consultation and accreditation. “We share your goals of achieving safety, efficiency, and compliance, while giving the best patient care,” Beigel said.
The symposium, designed for professionals working in the office laboratory, featured presentations, workshops conducted by industry leaders, and hands-on exhibits.
