RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Crystal Icenhour, PhD, CEO of Aperiomics, has just become Board Chairman for Virginia Bio, the first woman in the organization’s 24-year history to hold this position.
Dr. Icenhour has served on the 24-member Board since 2007 and as Vice Chairman for the past two years, focusing much of her energies toward capital formation for the association’s member companies. She has worked with Virginia Bio staff and Board of Directors to develop greater awareness in the Commonwealth of Virginia about the importance of the biotech industry and to advance supportive policies and funding.
