GEA Pharma Systems India Leads the Way at P-MEC India

November 2010 -- GEA Pharma Systems India will be at P-MEC India at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from 1st to 3rd December showing its wide range of leading technology for the manufacturing of oral and parenteral dosage forms. On the stand will be representatives from the GEA Pharma Systems well-established brands: Aeromatic-Fielder™ and Collette™ for batch and continuous granulation, drying, pelletizing and coating; Buck® for contained materials handling; Courtoy™ for tablet compression; and Lyophil™ for pharmaceutical freeze drying. By bringing these brands together, GEA Pharma Systems India represents a single source for all pharma and biotech needs.

The exhibits on stand i26 in hall 5 will include the latest integrated ‘closed’ transfer systems. Exhibits will include:

- a high shear granulator integrated with fluid bed processor, incorporating a wet and dry mill displayed in a ‘through-the-wall’ configuration;

- anUltimaPro™ Single Pot Processor for production of cytostatics, hormones and other highly potent products in a contained environment;

- the MODUL™ S tablet press with Exchangeable Compression Module (ECM) for fast product changeover with high containment and improved productivity;

- equipment from Buck Systems™ for contained materials handling including BUCK® Valves and the Hicoflex® disposable containment system.

Alongside GEA Pharma Systems in Hall 5, stand no. i18, will be GEA Diessel and GEA Lyophil. GEA Diessel will show its fermentation module and IZMAG™ flow meters to demonstrate its complete sterile process lines that offer a high level of reliability, exactness of composition and reproducibility that is required from pharmaceutical products. GEA Lyophil will show a bench-top SMART LYO® Freeze Dryer illustrating the company’s extensive range of pharma and biotech freeze dryers.
