LOUIS & INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2004--Maritz McGettigan, a pharmaceutical/medical meeting, event and incentive travel planning division of Maritz Travel, has named Marcia Doty director of operations, meeting services. In this role, Doty will work in Indianapolis to provide management for and oversee the development of sourcing and meeting planning activities. Doty will direct the efforts of data information, the resource center, association management, and account systems managers to ensure Maritz McGettigan continues to provide excellent quality service to its clients.
Prior to joining Maritz McGettigan, Doty served as a food and beverage consultant at Leon Younger and PROS in Indianapolis. She holds a bachelor’s degree in family consumer science and an associate’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from Ball State University. She is a member of a variety of professional affiliations, including The Irvington Farmer’s Market and Art Fair and the National Recreation and Parks Association.
