Universal Privileging is the first out-of-the- box privileging system that incorporates years of expert research on core privileges and threshold criteria. Rather than spending precious resources to develop their own, Morrisey’s customers can now easily adopt the privileging standards that are part of the Universal Privileging System.

In May, Morrisey launched its highly anticipated Web-based credentialing software, MSO for the Web(TM) (MSOW(TM)). MSOW combines the speed and flexibility of the Internet with Morrisey’s advanced technology to automate physician and allied health professional credentialing. The Universal Privileging System content will integrate with Morrisey’s e/Delineate(TM) criteria-based privileging system, which is a component of MSOW.
In September 2004, MedKinetics joined forces with Horty, Springer & Mattern, the nation’s first health-care law firm, to form The Credentialing and Clinical Privileges Consortium. The purpose of the consortium is to provide hospitals, health systems and physician leaders with practical, efficient and effective credentialing, privileging and peer review solutions.
