provider Thomson Reuters (NYSE:TRI; TSE: TRI | PowerRating) unveiled Monday the acquisition of San Diego-based biology and disease information provider GeneGo, without revealing financial details. As part of the deal, which has an immediate effect, GeneGo will join Thomson Reuters' Healthcare & Science division. GeneGo's extensive scientific expertise forms a perfect fit into Thomson Reuters' existing life sciences portfolio, the buyer said. The firm has offices in Moscow and Michigan.
