ROCKVILLE, Md., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- BioReliance Corporation, a leading contract services organization for the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries, announced today the launch of iNet, a proprietary information technology system that enables customers to submit test article details via controlled and secure Internet access from any location worldwide. In real-time, BioReliance clients can now view the status of current and past studies, keep informed of expected completion dates, download reports, and allow colleagues to view testing status-all in one online environment.
BioReliance developed iNet to simplify test article submissions and to promote instantaneous communications between clients and internal project managers. iNet is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 for user authentication, and data exchange over the web is protected by use of Secured Sockets Layer certificates procured from VeriSign(R). It is also compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
The iNet application is available to US biologics testing customers upon request. This service will be available at a future date for studies conducted in the UK, as well as for viral clearance and toxicology clients.
