Biotherapies Pavilion Back by Popular Demand at 2024 AABB Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas

The Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) is pleased to announce the return of the Biotherapies Pavilion at the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting, which will take place Oct. 19-22 in Houston, Texas.

Bethesda, MD - The Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) is pleased to announce the return of the Biotherapies Pavilion at the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting, which will take place Oct. 19-22 in Houston, Texas. AABB introduced the inaugural Biotherapies Pavilion in 2023 as a specially designed networking space in the Exhibit Hall, providing biotherapies companies with new and curated opportunities to network with key audiences in the field and gain access to all that the AABB Annual Meeting has to offer including:

  • Industry expert open-mic conversations hosted at the Biotherapies Pavilion

These engaging 45-minute sessions were unscripted and interactive, with audiences of up to 50 people. They were one of the many successful features of the 2023 AABB Annual Meeting. Example conversations from the inaugural Biotherapies Pavilion included:

  • Becky Cap, senior vice president, biotherapies, Vitalant, on the importance of collaborations within the biotherapies ecosystem.
  • Rob Tressler, PhD, chief scientific officer, Excellos, on considerations around healthy donor characterization.
  • Tracey Hlucky, CQA, CMQ/OE (ASQ), quality affairs senior manager, Kite Pharma, on how to leverage established quality systems when developing advanced biotherapies.
  • CABP Celebration Hour

At the 2023 Annual Meeting, more than 75 Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professionals (CABPs) gathered to reflect on the success of the certification to date. This year, AABB will celebrate successful CABPs and host a discussion panel for prospective candidates to learn more about achieving this prestigious certification.   • Limited availability Biotherapies Pavilion sponsorship and networking packages
