China’s ministry of health confirmed that a mysterious illness that has killed at least 19 people was a bacteria spread among pigs, as all pork exports from the area were suspended. The disease has proved so deadly that more than a quarter of the 67 confirmed cases in the southwestern province of Sichuan have died.
