LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo., /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of GEHA has announced that following a nationwide search Darren Taylor has been selected as President and Chief Executive Officer. Taylor had been serving as GEHA’s interim President and CEO since October 2018 and was previously in the position of Chief Operating Officer. GEHA’s Board of Directors said, “Darren was selected to lead the organization because of his strong industry knowledge, success as a business manager and thoughtful, effective leadership style. Taylor spent the first 20 years of his career in various leadership roles with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. A life-long Kansas City area resident, he currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Mid-America Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
