Dr. Andrew Rochman Adds a New Voice to Non-Profit Charities for Long Island Pain Sufferers - and Pets Too

Dr. Andrew Rochman, founder of the Pain Healers Alliance joined a growing list of foundations as part of his “helping hand for Long Island crusaders” mission

PLAINVIEW, N.Y., March 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Andrew Rochman, founder of the Pain Healers Alliance joined a growing list of foundations as part of his “helping hand for Long Island crusaders” mission. Designed in 2014 as an awareness forum about the overuse of pain meds, his group evolved into a professional caregivers network and a resource for pain-related fundraisers. Additional supporters include Dr. Jesse Stoff of AwarenessforaCure.org, Dr. Robert Bard of the AngioFoundation and Jennifer Hunt, chief fundraiser for LI2DAY.

For over ten years, Dr. Rochman volunteered with Blanca’s House- an international provider of free medical and dental care to needy communities. They supported approximately 4,500 people in countries such as Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Honduras.

Since then, Dr. Rochman stayed active with outreach efforts to help local groups including LI2DAY- a local fundraising group for Long Island cancer cases. “Working with Dr. Rochman’s awareness program is a big part of patient advocacy and support,” states Jennifer Hunt. "- it’s about reaching out to the public- connecting with other doctors and patients or survivors. We hope to bring more understanding of these life-disrupting disorders while fundraising for treatment research through social media distribution and public awareness.”

The Pain Healers Alliance also inducted veterinarian Dr. Lynda Loudon and her ‘Healing Haven Animal Foundation’, establishing a new support category to include our furry friends. Her fund provides financial assistance to those who need urgent medical care for their pets or to homeless animals without guardians. “We need public funding for pet owners in need of financial assistance for urgent veterinary care for their beloved pets.” Additionally, talks of a joint project between the two doctors about the use of Stem Cell Therapy (one of Dr. Rochman’s specialized treatment modalities) for animals is still in the works and may be made official sometime mid-year.

Dr. Rochman’s most recent commitment in public awareness is joining ‘My Cells, My Choice’ - a national advocacy and patient rights group promoting the message of “Health Freedom” and the protection against government restrictions in the use of cellular regenerative and genetic sciences. Dr. Rochman was recently elected as an advisory board member and is now a regional head of the Long Island branch. “Patients generally get a very narrow view from most doctors... there’s very rarely only one solution for any one specific disease. From conventional pharmacology to alternative treatments, today’s patient should have proper understanding and access to all modalities to allow them to make up their own mind!"- says Dr. Rochman.

Dr. Andrew J. Rochman is a NY board-certified surgeon and is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York, Nassau County Medical Society and the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Rochman manages several practices in specialized studies including vein therapy, gallbladder surgery and stem cell therapy in Plainview, NY. For more information about Dr. Andrew J.
