Emergent Group, Inc. (OTCBB:EMGP), a leading provider of mobile medical lasers and surgical equipment, today announced financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2006. Second quarter revenues increased 35% to a record $3,993,211, compared to revenues of $2,948,415 for the same period in 2005. Net income increased dramatically to a record $549,807 or $0.10 per basic share ($0.09 per diluted share) for the quarter, compared to net income of $125,275 or $0.03 per basic and diluted share for the same period in 2005.
