Home improvement contractor donates to DC’s premier charity event to raise money to fund childhood cancer research.
SPRINGFIELD, Va., March 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Greater Washington home improvement contractor Exterior Medics will be a proud sponsor of Chance for Life, DC's "Party With a Purpose" that raises money to combat childhood cancer.
"This is a cause that's very close to our hearts," Joe LeVecchi, co-owner of Exterior Medics, said. "We are honored to take part in such an important event, as we have for the past 7 years."
Chance for Life was designed to be different from the start—it's a part-charity, part-concert, part-gourmet food tasting event that stands out in a city with numerous causes and galas. To date, they have raised over $4.6 million, with 100% of all net proceeds going directly to fund cancer research at Children's National Hospital System and to support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. This year, Exterior Medics was able to donate $15,000 to help bolster the success of the event.
