Founder and Former CEO Returns to Helm Bostwick Laboratories

UNIONDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bostwick Laboratories (“Bostwick” or “the Company”), a leading anatomic pathology laboratory specializing in the monitoring and diagnosis of cancer, today announced that Bostwick Founder and Former Chief Executive Officer Dr. David G. Bostwick, MD, MBA, has returned to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Dr. Bostwick succeeds interim Chief Executive Officer Michael J. Parsons, former CEO of SouthernCare and COO of Triad Hospitals.

Dr. Bostwick is an internationally renowned urologic pathologist with more than 30 years of experience and interest in prostate cancer, bladder cancer and urologic diseases. He founded Bostwick in 1999 and has served in multiple capacities at the Company since its founding, including Chief Medical Officer, President, and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Bostwick previously was a professor of urology and pathology at the Mayo Clinic. He holds a BA in Biological Sciences and an MD from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from Loyola College of Maryland.
