GE Healthcare sells its Centricity Laboratory Division for an undisclosed amount to a team of Irish imaging and software groups. GE Healthcare this month handed its Centricity Laboratory Division over to Cirdan Ultra, an subsidiary of Ireland-based Cirdan Imaging Limited, which acquired the intellectual property and assets together with compatriot Kainos Software. The new owners plant to developing the laboratory information systems products to “keep pace with the rapid advances in molecular and genetic pathology, Cirdan Imaging CEO Hugh Cormican said in prepared remarks.
