The Heraeus Medical Components North American Campus will consist of three phases of construction. Phase I has recently been completed. This 60,000 sq. ft. high-efficiency structure includes 22,000 sq. ft. of ISO Class 8 environmentally controlled manufacturing area where the company's wire coiling, plastic injection molding and clean room assembly services will be performed. Construction of Phase II will follow with an additional 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing area which will include manufacturing of stamped metal housings, precision machining, and wire forming, straightening and grinding services. Phase III, an additional 50,000+ sq. ft. building, is planned for future growth.

Heraeus Medical Components, Inc., currently employs 350 at two buildings in Vadnais Heights and three buildings in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. The Heraeus Medical Components Senior Leadership Team strongly considered the commutes of these employees when selecting the 30-acre White Bear Township location. It is anticipated that upon completion of the strategic two-year consolidation plan, Heraeus Medical Components will be one of White Bear Township's largest employers.
