Under Dubois' leadership, Hospira will advance its global quality and compliance strategies, drive the continuous improvement of established quality procedures to ensure that processes and products meet high internal standards and regulatory requirements, and ultimately deliver high-quality, cost-effective products to customers.
Previously, Dubois, 57, served as vice president of quality for Tengion, Inc., where he was responsible for the biotechnology company's quality and compliance operations. Prior to joining Tengion, he spent more than 10 years at Johnson & Johnson in increasing roles of responsibility, most recently as vice president, Global External Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Operations. In this position, Dubois was responsible for driving transformation of the supply chain through quality operations at external sites, including pharmaceutical suppliers and bulk active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and biologics manufacturing.
During his career, Dubois served in numerous quality and operations roles and has also worked as a business consultant to several pharmaceutical companies. He earned his master's degree in pharmacy from Leiden University, the Netherlands.
