He developed PRO-TECH 22 to help outdoor enthusiasts survive in primitive areas when emergency situations arise. As such, it saves lives and prevents injuries by keeping survival tools and supplies easily accessible when needed. Thus, it affords users peace of mind since it facilitates safety for participants of outdoor activities. This unique invention is also lightweight, compact and comfortable. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

The inventor's personal observations and concerns inspired the idea. "I live near a wilderness area that consists of mountainous terrain where hikers and hunters often get lost or die," he said. "I wanted to invent something that would help saves lives in emergency situations in the outdoors."

The original design was submitted to the National Sales Office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
