BRISTOL, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--King Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: KG) announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the New Drug Application for an ALTACE® (ramipril) tablet formulation. King expects to be in a position to launch the new formulation sometime during the fourth quarter of 2007 or the first quarter of 2008.
