Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) announced this week that it shifted its regional Middle East and Africa headquarters from Beirut, Lebanon, to a “freezone” in Dubai. The medical device giant is settling down in TECOM Investment’s DuBiotech Research Park, saying Medtronic selected Dubai for its “infrastructure, accessibility, and its strategic location as a gateway to other markets in the MEA region.”
