Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) is reportedly planning to shutter the former headquarters of Covidien more than a year after its $50 billion acquisition of the Mansfield, Mass.-based company.
The closure, slated for later this spring, was decided upon last fall, Medtronic spokesman Fernando Vivanco told the Attleboro Sun Chronicle. The move is part of a conversion to a “flexible workspace” that allows employees to work from home or remote locations, Vivanco said.
