WILMINGTON, Mass., July 11 /PRNewswire/ -- OmniSonics Medical Technologies, Inc., a developer of advanced medical devices, today announced the appointment of Len Farris to the position of Vice President, Marketing.
Mr. Farris comes to OmniSonics from Boston Scientific Corporation, where he most recently served as Global Director of Marketing, Endoscopy. With Boston Scientific since 1998, Mr. Farris recently led the development and commercialization of the 1st Access & Visualization Platform for Endoscopy. During his tenure at Boston Scientific, he also held various Sales and Marketing management positions. In 1995 he joined Pfizer, Inc., where he served in various sales roles. Previously, Mr. Farris served in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1995, where he was an aircrew member on the KC- 135 aircraft, and held various leadership roles, including Wing Chief of Safety. While in the Air Force, he was awarded the Air Medal and Distinguished Service Medal as a result of his service in the Desert Storm War.
Mr. Farris holds an MBA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a BS in Business Administration from East Carolina University. In addition, he has attended Business Executive Education at Harvard and Columbia Business Schools.
