MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orthovita, Inc. (NASDAQ:VITA), an orthobiologics and biosurgery company, reported financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2008. Product sales for the quarter ended December 31, 2008 increased 34% to $20.8 million, as compared to $15.6 million for the same period in 2007. Product sales for the year ended December 31, 2008 increased 33% to $76.9 million, as compared to $58.0 million for the same period in 2007.
