(OTCQB: PTMD) (PINKSHEETS: PTMD), a developer and marketer of innovative safety medical devices, announces that the Company has been granted U.S. patent No. 7,799,002 ("Safety Syringe") by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. This grant provides 20 years of patent protection for the unique spring structure and the Company's new automatic, self-sheathing Safety Syringe.
