State-of-the-art facility to serve as global manufacturing hub
INDIANAPOLIS (May 15, 2019) – PTS Diagnostics, a U.S.–based manufacturer of point-of-care biometric testing devices, today announced that their new global headquarters is officially opening to all Indianapolis-area employees on Monday, May 20.
Located at 4600 Anson Boulevard, the 135,000 square foot facility will feature expanded manufacturing and office space, as well as amenities such as a walking trail, fitness center, zen garden, rec room, and more. The facility has recently led to material hiring in key departments such as research and development, operations, and manufacturing; a trend that PTS Diagnostics expects to continue for the foreseeable future.
The grand opening comes nearly a year to the day after a private groundbreaking ceremony was held with executives, architects, builders, and representatives from PTS Diagnostics’ parent company, Sinocare, Inc.
“Our growth rate has been significantly above the industry average for the past several years. This facility greatly expands our capacity, while ensuring that Indiana will remain our long-term home,” said Robert Huffstodt, President and CEO of PTS Diagnostics. “Ultimately, it’s our vision to be recognized as the leading global customer-driven partner for providing innovative point-of-care solutions for preventative healthcare and disease management. This headquarters provides us with the resources to make this goal a reality.”
PTS Diagnostics employs more than 240 full-time employees domestically and internationally, with the majority of those employees residing at our new flagship location in Whitestown. PTS Diagnostics also has a Sunnyvale, California location which was acquired in 2013.
The company is currently hiring in the fields of engineering, regulatory and compliance, sales, manufacturing and production, research and development, and marketing. Interested applicants are encouraged to monitor the PTS Diagnostics career center at ptsdiagnostics.com/career-center.
“We are pleased that PTS Diagnostics has chosen to bring their global headquarters to Whitestown,” said Molly Whitehead, Executive Director of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation. “We are confident that a thriving company like PTS Diagnostics will find Boone County to be a good fit for their operations.”
A ribbon-cutting celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, employees, Whitestown business leaders, and members of the media are welcome to attend. More information will be available at a later date.
The old facility, located at 7736 Zionsville, Road, will remain open for disaster recovery and manufacturing needs.
