Rockwell Medical Technologies Signs Supply Contract With NxStage Medical, Inc.

WIXOM, MI--(Marketwire - March 08, 2013) - Rockwell Medical (NASDAQ: RMTI), a fully-integrated biopharmaceutical company targeting end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with innovative products and services for the treatment of iron deficiency, secondary hyperparathyroidism and hemodialysis, announced that it has signed a contract with NxStage® Medical, Inc. to manufacture dialysate concentrate for the NxStage System One™, the first and only truly portable hemodialysis system cleared for home use by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. The contract term is for two years.
