WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2006--Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (NYSE:SFE) today announced its operating results for the second quarter of 2006. Safeguard reported consolidated revenues for the second quarter of $56.4 million, a 26% increase from revenues of $44.7 million in the second quarter last year. This year’s second quarter included $4.6 million of revenue from Acsis, which was acquired in December of 2005.
