For the 4th year in a row, SDARTs will present clinical and scientific education in the latest advances in regenerative therapies, with a focus on using adipose (fat) tissue as an abundant source of regenerative cells.
“Last year’s conference was a tremendous success,” reports Marcille Pilkington, CEO of SDARTs. “We had nearly 150 attendees and faculty from 19 countries, representing experts and practitioners of leading-edge regenerative therapies. This year, we’ll build on that success with a focus on the latest applications in this fast-growing new field. We believe that regenerative medicine, or using a patient’s own tissue to rejuvenate and repair their own body, will change the way we care for patients.”
Keynote presentations will feature the original pioneers of nanofat, plastic surgeons Patrick Tonnard, MD, PhD and Alexis Verpaele, MD, PhD from Belgium. (https://www.tonnardverpaele.com/)
Other speakers include:
Robert Alexander, MD, DMD, FICS; internationally recognized aesthetic & reconstructive surgeon, author, teacher, pioneer in use of stem/stromal cells in clinical practice, and a recognized leader in the field of Biocellular Regenerative Medicine.
J. Peter Rubin, MD; UPMC Endowed Professor and Chair of Plastic Surgery, Director, Adipocyte Biology Laboratory University of Pittsburgh, Co-director UPMC Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center
Ramon Llull, MD, PhD, (https://plasticamallorca.com/en/dr-ramon-llull/); Founder Cell Pro Tech Spain SLU, a Cell Therapy Translational and Clinical Research Center; Medical Director of Plastica Mallorca Plastic Surgery Clinic; first to publish scientific characterization of the biology of nanofat.
