Sanofi has appointed Dr Frank Nestle as both the global head of immunology and inflammation research therapeutic area and North America chief executive officer.
Based out of the French firm's Cambridge, Massachusetts office, Dr Nestle will be responsible for developing Sanofi's early stage immunology and inflammations portfolio and driving its scientific intelligence across multiple therapeutic areas in the US.
He joins Sanofi from King's College London, where he was the Mary Dunhill professor and chair of cutaneous medicine and immunotherapy.
