LITTLETON, Mass., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Scandius BioMedical, Inc., a privately held medical device company that designs, manufactures and markets products for orthopedic sports medicine, announced today the appointment of John L. Bojanowski to Vice President of Sales. Mr. Bojanowski will lead the Sales and Distribution efforts for the company’s Stratis(TM) ST ACL Reconstruction system, as well as future products to be released in early 2006.
As Vice President of Sales, Mr. Bojanowski will be responsible for developing and executing Scandius’ worldwide sales and distribution strategy. He brings to Scandius more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, most recently at Smith & Nephew’s Endoscopy Division where he served on the Executive Team as Vice President of US Sales. While at Smith & Nephew, John was a key contributor to the company’s sales strategy and growth. He has also held executive and leadership positions at Tyco Healthcare & Paychex, Inc.
