MARLBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Sunovion) today commemorated the fifth year of its annual community service program Hands On! Since the inception of the program in 2012, Sunovion employees have volunteered more than 20,000 hours to support youth organizations and community service efforts around the Company’s headquarters location in Marlborough, Massachusetts and its office in Fort Lee, New Jersey. During 2016, Sunovion will continue to expand Hands On! through employee volunteer efforts on projects throughout the U.S., as well as in communities where the Company has offices in the UK and Canada.

Today, through the Hands On! program 321 Sunovion employees are supporting 19 projects including those in partnership with United Way of Tri-County and Volunteer Center of Bergen County to address various social, medical, educational and environmental needs.
