(Nasdaq:SGYP), a developer of new drugs to treat gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and diseases, announced today that an Investigational New Drug (IND) application was submitted on September 7, 2012 for clinical evaluation of SP-333 to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
