(“Taro,” the “Company,” NASDAQ: TARO) today announced that the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel (the “Panel”) has granted a further extension, to December 11, 2006, for the filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2005 (the “2005 Form 20-F”). Previously, the Panel had granted an extension to November 17, 2006 for the filing.
