Weaver, MD, PhD, is the recipient of the 2009 Prix Galien Research Award for his groundbreaking efforts to design novel drug therapies to treat chronic neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. The Prix Galien Awards are presented each year to honor outstanding achievements in the development of new medicines.
